Grand Foyer
Built in 1929, a time of grandeur and luxury, the Grand Foyer’s majestic neoclassical design means your event needs little decoration. Beautiful stonework, columns soaring three stories high, Italian marble floors, a spectacular stained-glass ceiling, and lead-lights create an inspirational backdrop to your next event.

Te Ao Marama South Atrium
Te Ao Mārama South Atrium will take your breath away. This stunning and expansive architectural venue sits under a suspended Fijian Kauri clad tanoa (kava bowl). Light, bright and welcoming with installations by New Zealand artists, it’s a place to come together for larger events.

Auditorium & Lobby
The Auditorium is a purpose-built venue for conferences, lectures and presentations. It sits within the giant Fijian Kauri bowl suspended in Te Ao Mārama the South Atrium.
Each leather bound seat has a fold out tray for note-taking, and a clear sightline to the speaker or performer. The adjacent lobby, also for hire, is the perfect space for registrations, standing style catering and networking occasions. Venue hire includes standard audio-visual and lighting.

199 theatre (Auditorium) - Bishop Selwyn Chapel
Designed by Auckland architects, Fearon Hay, this remarkable space has glass walls and a gilded curved ceiling. Sitting in the Chapel you look out through mature oaks across the city to Maungakiekie, to your right you see the historic and beautiful St Mary’s, and to your left there is a glimpse of the Waitematā. On summer days, the front wall is fully opening, with nine sliding panels, inviting interaction with the Trinity Garden, in which sits a gilded cross sculpture designed by Christchurch artist, Neil Dawson. This award-winning Chapel is an exquisite venue for cocktail functions, dinners, product launches, conferences, chamber music concerts and much more.

The Karaka Pavilion offers one of the most unique venues in the country and is now available for your next event. From its extensive gardens, stables and informal indoor/outdoor spaces, to a contemporary formal lounge and dining area, or the 600-seat auction ring, there is a space suitable for any event or budget. Located just 35 minutes from Auckland’s CBD, the Karaka Pavilion offers a first class venue, with a host of options for your wedding, product launch, conference, business meeting, or party. Encompassing four main event spaces under one roof, suitable for groups from 12 to 600. Pristine lawns and gardens provide a beautiful foreground between the pavilion and the stables, that can also be utlised as an additional space.

The entrance foyer with its expansive doorways and windows that cast light throughout, as well as carefully styled elements, deliver an exquisite first impression. These spaces are beautifully furnished using classic Danish décor and, in their own right, showcase elegant event settings.
The modern auditorium presents a dramatic space, complemented by state-of-the-art audio-visual, featuring over 100m2 of LED panels, plus lighting and sound to match. This truly is a platform for a memorable event.

1850 theatre style - Mechanics Bay
Mechanics Bay is a versatile event space, sitting on the fringe of Auckland’s CBD with a stunning view of Rangitoto island, north head and harbour entrance.
The building’s architecture takes its cues from the site’s heritage - with Mechanics Bay being the home to Auckland’s first international airport from the 1930s - 1960s. Mechanics Bay continues to be a hub for aviation and is the home to Auckland’s inner-city helicopter landing site.

Tote on Ascot is the definition of refined tradition. Originally built in 1885 and once home to the world’s first automatic totalisator machine, today this charming building has been painstakingly restored to accommodate events of all sizes, from the opulent – to the intimate.
